Best faux tan in a can / bottle

Sorry ladies ive been sick but heres my product of the day.....So this is my summer secret that keeps me bronzy all summer and even in the winter (I just dont apply as often).....it is bare minerals faux tan....what I love about it????
the smell is so nice it has a cherry almond smell to it rather than that maple syrup smell that stays with you for a week with all others I've tried.....2nd its a gel/lotion and it goes on amazing ....best of all you can see what your putting on it comes out a brownish color so you can see exactly where applying....and its matte its not sparkly which i like I know some of you prefer the shimmer but I'd rather put it on after than in with my self tanner. 3rd it is not orange at all it actually has a greenish tint on top of the brown out of the bottle so when mixed with the natural hues of your skin and does not end up orange at all! .....for around 20$ you can buy it at sephora....they also have one specifically for the face that I use as well!.....go try! And enjoy!.....only negative you have to apply with your hands but it washes off your hands easily.....when applying always exfoliate and moisturize prior.

Got spots????

Get Reid of them! Millions of women come see me and my associates everyday tackeling different skin conditions. One of the biggest problem my clients face is hyperpigmentation what is hyperpigmentation?....Hyperpigmentation is an area of the skin that has produced more melanicites than the other areas so it gives an uneveness to the color of the skin leaving "dark spots"...Melanin is what is produced when we are tanning the melinocytes are what gives us our "tan" when we are worshiping the sun which is one of worst things to do when you are already seeing signs of hyperpigmentation. So many women are so uneducated about these skin annoyances, learning about how to treat and prevent them is the best way to handle them. Although there are many conditions linked with hyperpigmentation most of the discoloration can be made to look better if you are taking preventative measure. Most of the women i see are coming in because of free radical damage, years of not taking care of their skin and also post pregnancy melasma. So here are some things to help educate you if you are one of the women suffering from these spots. First and most important no matter what your age is to be applying sunscreen everyday no matter what the month or weather. A huge misconception is that you do not get frequency from the sun if its cold out that is false you are still getting the rays another misconception I hear all my clients say "no im not wearing sunscreen today its so cloudy outside" again false the sun is so powerful although you may not be feeling it those rays can travel through the clouds just like they can travel through your clothing. Make sure you dont forget to apply sunscreen to your declote either ( the neck and chest areas) the worst thing i see is women who have done such a good job at taking care of the skin on the face but then their neck and chest is a spotted , wrinkled mess , dont leave these areas out. Sunscreen is so important I can't stress it enough ( not only to prevent cancers but to keep you looking young as long as possible) to be honest if it didnt prevent aging i probably wouldnt be wearing it because who doesn't love a great tan? ( I know that sounds so vein but its the truth) When i was tanning to get my body tan I always covered my face and also put sunscreen on (i know putting on sunscreen to go in a tanning bed im crazy) I would just apply to my face and neck area ...so if you still insist on going in the tanning bed(although i do not reccommend) PLEASE cover your face (you dont want to look like a louis vuitton when you 30....Okay now that thats settleed on to the next thing....Smoking dont smoke if you do stop you dont realize how much it is destroying your face when my clients come in I can tell whos a smoker without even asking them just by giving them a skin anaylsis....not only will this help the aging process dramaticly, the tar from the cigarettes gets in your pores so then it looks like your pores are filled with black heads and look much larger than they normally would its gross.....WATER WATER WATER water is sooo extremely important drink up its such a great hydrator from within makes your skin look and feel so much better if you dont already drink atleast 8 8oz glasses of water a day try it im telling you your skin will love you for it and youll be able to see a difference. ...Start using a anti aging skincare line if your in your mid 20's its the perfect time to start if your using an acne line they have alot of similar properties that an anti aging like would have so thats fine too if you are getting acne stick with your acne line. One of my favorite lines right now is Hylunia there cleanser and vitamin c serum are 2 of my favorites although the whole line is amazing. The Vitamin C serum is essential and it helps with the spots.

Awesome Margarita made with all natural ingredients must try!!!!!

Although I cannot drink currently (because I am pregnant) I have been making these margaritas every weekend for the family. Tonight I made one for the hubs and decided to post. What you'll need: 1 orange 1 Lemon 1 Lime Tequilla (normally I drink patron but theres no need to use it in frozen drinks) Orange liquor ( triple sec or cointreu) Frozen Strawberries (optional) if you don't use it will just be a regular margarita but I would recommend 2 whole oranges if you choose not to use strawberries. Agave Nectar Ice Cubes Sugar I am a bit of a blender snob I really think that makes all the difference (i use a vitamix) you can get them cheaper at Costco than other stores they are really great machines ( I make soup, ice cream, shakes , peanut butter) you can make just about anything in them.....anyway youll obviously need a blender I put 4 oz of tequilla in and 2 oz of triple sec ( ratio is 2:1 if your making a bigger size) 1 whole orange peeled Juice of 1 lemon and 1 lime a Table spoon of Agave Nectar 2 cups of Fresh frozen strawberries (or any frozen fruit) Don't get the ones that have added sugar theres no need for the extra calories and fill the rest of the blender with ice Blend on low level for about 30 seconds then high for another 30 seconds now your margarita is done Then rim your glass put a little agave nectar on one plate and sugar on another dip glass in agave nectare then right in the sugar (or salt make sure you get margarita salt if you choose salt) I do not like salt neither do any of my family members so we use just regular granulated sugar......These are sooo good I can't wait to have one in 4 months once this baby is here!!!!! Enjoy!!!! One more thing........If you prefer a margarita on the rocks use same recipie its great but you cannot use the frozen strawberries ( i would just buy a fruit puree and add an oz) Just follow same recipie but instead of using a whole orange just use the juice and the most important part is shaking the ingriedents atleast for 30 seconds to make it nice and frothy.

To lazy to apply makeup ....try this

I love these two face products and when I'm in a rush or to lazy to put makeup on which happens more often now that I'm pregnant again....these are life savers and I love them ....first I cleanse my fave also with a Hylunia face product these products are amazing all natural preservative and paraben free (your face doesn't need any of that stuff its not good even though skin care lines may claim something different) use products that are more natural. Hylunia is such a great line I recommend it to alot of my clients. (I'll talk more about hylunia in another post) anyways......I wash my face if your oily you can take a cotton ball and prep your face with just plain rubbing alcohol ....then I apply a good moisturizer always making sure there is SPF in it the moisturizer allows my Bb cream to lay more nicely on my face ....if your oily this may make your skin feel to oily for you so you can use a lotion specifically for oily skin...**keep in mind oily people should still be using a moisturizer just a lighter one made for oily skin.....if your sebaceous glands get to dry (from not using lotion) they will go into over productive mode and you will end up with break outs.**...... then I apply the bb cream pictured although its just garner its been my favorite it goes on light but still gives amazing coverage and makes my skin look flawless it also has an SPF of 15 and gives my skin a nice glow I never leave the house without applying!.....make sure you let your moisturizer completely dry before applying Bb cream then apply bb cream and you only need a little.....most important is to get the right color for you......I've tried many other brands and haven't liked them as much as this one.

A quick mani

So no need to spend 20$ for something you can do at home...Pictured is what you will need to do an at home mani , I dont recommend going to a nail place unless its something you cannot do at home....If you are bad at painting nails start with a dark color they show less mistakes also once completely dry you can dip a q-tip in acetone and clean edges the acetone will take it right off. Heres what youll need and how to use doing a mani ... 100% pure acetone and cotton ball ( dont use non acetone it wont do as good of a job especially with clean up) Step 1: Clean nails( even if no nail polish with a cotton ball soaked in acetone. ****If you have time soak nails for atleast 5 minutes in warm soapy water (this will loosen cuticles and make it alot easier) or do steps 2-7 right after a warm shower or after bathing your children like I did today . I did not have time to soak today which is why I dont have this step pictured**** Step 2: Apply cuticle remover let sit 5 mins (pink squeeze bottle pictured) Step 3: Push cuticles ( get a metal cuticle pusher *like the one pictured* the wood ones wont work it will be a waste of time and money)Start at nail right above cuticle apply decent pressure and push down. Step 4: Cut Cuticles (Don't get cuticle scissors get cuticle clippers like the ones pictured)Invest in a decent pair so that they dont dull out easy. Don't cut and rip the cuticle , if you bleed your cutting two deep or you did not push them enough simply nip and cut all along the bottom curve of nail. Step 5: Cut nails with nail clippers (I love mine short so I always do this step I think short nails are classy and professional... some of you will probably skip this step if so make sure you file to make them all even and the same shape) Step 6: File nails-Black file pictured ( I dont have enough nail to shape them so I simply just file out the rough edges) But if my nails were longer I would choose to go with a square shape Step 7: Buff nails -White one pictured take nail buffer and do 10 passes fastly back and forth on nail it should leave a white powder on nail Step 8: Apply cuticle oil (you can use olive or coconut oil at home if you have) Leave sit until your ready to paint nails Step 9: Time to polish .....( I dont use a base coat because I feel as though it makes the nails chip alot faster) You have to balance the pH of your nail in order to have the nail polish apply properly so how do we do this???? simply re-clean nail with a cotton ball and acetone ********Time to polish******** I love the Seche Vite dry fast top coat (pictured) it is my absolute favorite I dont use anyting else and I always use a fast dry why wait if you dont have to? For my color of choice I choose Adel by Zoya , Zoya is my new favorite polish line. To make them dry even faster put them in the freezer for a couple of mins. If you have kids give them a file and ask them if they can do their nails with you it will keep them busy ....also give them a washable marker and tell them to "paint" their nails. Dont ever waste another dime getting your nails done do all this it shouldnt take more than 15 minutes ....it takes me about 5 because ive been doing it forever and have it down pat and these products can be found all at Sallys Beauty Supply or Walmart (dont know about the polish though) Please try this a couple times youll get the hang of it and wonder why you ever paid for a mani....use same steps to do a pedi :)

Best pregnancy bra.....maybe.

Genie bra
Okay so obviously not the sexiest bra, but every time I see these I want to order one and I think I'm finally going to....being pregnant I get a lot of pain in my rib area so I can't wait to unstrap my bra at the end of the day. This bra is supposedly very comfortable fits like a sports bra but gives you the lift padding and support of a regular bra. I think I'm finally going to order one or go get one I know I have seen them at Walmart cause I've always wanted to try one and you can order them on amazon (3 for around 20$) or geniebra.com. But you'll spend a little more money. I think these would be perfect during pregnancy because your size is constantly changing and your always uncomfortable. I'll put a review up once I get one.

Shaggy carpet steal!

I have been searching for a modern sheaf carpet that's fluffy and full after literally a year of searing I finally found my perfect carpet where did I find this gem?.....Costco and it was only 249$ its a 7.5 x10 but they also have a 5x7 size for 123$ they have them in charcoal, dark brown and ivory(winter white).... it is amazing I've been searching and haven't been able to find anything this size for less than 800 this is an absolute steal! The picture doesn't do it justice I also purchased a small charcoal one I will post a pic of that once I deside what room I want it in.

Desert

Found these at the store and they are so good and so easy to make at home to.... I love how they are frozen ....and bite size my kids love them and they are eating fruit..literally a slice of banana dipped in dark chocolate (my fav) and frozen

A quicky....yet still healthy!

For din we had a grilled chix salad it can be so quick and so easy and best of all you can use all the veggies in your fridge that may end up going to waste I used
Raw mushrooms
Boston lettuce
Red onion
Tomato
Sunflower seeds
Peppers
Marinade the chicken (I used lemon, honey mustard, olive oil salt and pepper)
the longer it sits the better
once you get all those washed cut and cleaned dinner is pretty Much made.  I love doing this on days I work because sometimes I don't get home until 8pm so I don't have time to put something healthy together and its all there for me I just add dressing and toss.....of course you could also grill chicken and have that prepared too. For dressing
red wine vinegar
olive oil
Chives chopped
Onion minced
Salt and pepper
Garlic powder or fresh . Fresh is always better though
A spoon full of Dijon mustard
Finally I used some left over bread so it wouldn't go to waste and made some homemade croutons just chop and add olive oil and garlic to a pan and pan fry....I usually do these in the oven for a healthier alternative but was to lazy tonight!
Enjoy

Great hydrator

This stuff is amazing I use it for all my dry spots and its so healing and moisturizing .....to use on my face I mix just a dab in with my regular lotion keeping it away from the eye area..once a day usually before bed because it will leave skin a little greasy....do not use on face if you have oily skin....if you use to thick of a moisturizer in the eye area it can cause you to get little white heads that are very hard to get Reid of called milia so keep away from eyes but over the rest of the face is great! I use it every night on my lips as well ....its also gentle enough I mix a little in with regular baby lotion and put it on my boys when they are dry. I always have a tube of this on me ....they also sell  one specific for children too!
Zit tip....if you pick a zit and notice a hyper pigmented spot (dark spot) apply something like this to keep skin hydrated and speed up cell turnover! I usually use neosporine though! Will post more about that later!

Reality …

Almost 5 years ago my excitement for starting a family and getting married was unexplainably high. I simply thought we get married and have a baby never did I ever think that trying to start a family would be as difficult as it is in reality…sure I herd of women having miscarriages and loosing there babies but I always just assumed that the women was unhealthy or doing things during pregnancy that she should not be …then I experienced my first miscarriage , then three months later a second one then by the grace of GOD came Santino our first baby and a year and a half later I was pregnant with out trying with his brother Nico after a year we became pregnant again and then suffered another miscarriage this time very late in the first trimester although it was my third one it was the toughest to over come I had started showing and telling people because I was around 13 weeks which is the time they say it is safe to start telling people. I was also pregnant with twins with an extremely high risk pregnancy and unfortunately that pregnancy ended at 6months loosing bothing babies…...I am now close to 6 months pregnant again and am patiently waiting the arrival of a little girl in November. I am just sharing my story because I feel for those of you who are struggling getting pregnant and those of you that have lost your babies it is the hardest thing all three times that I have went through and I pray for all of you who are currently facing these situations….My faith got me through these hard times and is getting me through this pregnancy one day at a time….just remember it is out of your control and no matter what you do if your supposed to miscarry its going to happen i know its hard not to blame yourself but lets face it its to complicated its in Gods hands!!! Hang in there ladies, I hope some of you reading this who have not started a family yet , never have to go through these struggles but it is a sad reality that many women will have to experience. I hope this can encourage all of you to stay strong and make it past the hard times lean on your family and spouse to get you through!

Battling the brat

My 2 year old has turned into the biggest brat !!! I don’t even know where it came from his older brother was not a brat and go double the attention because he was the first grandchild. My little guy throws tantrums over everything and im sick of it so I am starting to train him….heres some advice that is working for me….when he/she wants something wait a couple minutes to give it to them (if it is something they can have) this is working for me he is starting to realize he can’t have everything he wants exactly when he wants it, another thing to do is just say no just to warm him/her up for future things that you really dont want them to have. If they start throwing a tantrum (leg kicking, bucking backwards, or even self inflicting pain such as purposely hitting there heads off of the walls) take them put them on a carpet or some surface they wont hurt them selves if they do, do those things leave them there alone and let them throw there tantrum. And then if he is having a crying fit and screaming I put him in a corner and when he stops I ask him if he is done and usually he will stop at that point…..Another thing that can honestly train them is NOT always getting involved with the big brother who likes to take things off little brother. This will help the little one learn to stick up for himself and also to share even if he doesn’t want to , I would reprimand the older one for taking , but I usually do it after the whole situation has played out because I like to see how they are going to handle situations cause lets face it some kids are jerks and your child may be one of those kids that gets bullied by a jerk or he could be the jerk/bully nice to have them prepared!!!! Please let us know your secrets/tips/feedback!!!!
Wait one more thing. the younger brats… if you are training your baby to go from sleeping with you to their own crib or even from sleeping in your room to sleeping in their room…LET THEM CRY IT OUT……if they are crying and you go get them out they are going to know that crying is what gets them what they want so it is going to take the whole process alot longer…I went through this with my first child made the mistake of letting him sleep with us since he was a baby and when we transitioned him it took a good 4 days before I could put him to bed without him crying so just hang in there and if you work or are a light sleeper start it on the weekend because lets face it you will not be getting much sleep during this transition but the key is not letting them win!!!…Goodluck
